HDS Rebell® is a software application within the context of an automated invoice control or a self-billing process

The HDS Systems GmbH developes our software HDS Rebell®. HDS Rebell® helps with the payoff complex logistics processes in line with a automated invoice verification or a self-billing system. With HDS Rebell® you have the opportunity to analyse youre CO2-emission, create deviation and wakness analysis and also KPI Reports.
Another Feature from HDS Rebell® is our management cockpit, with gives the user his data (realtime dashboard) on his fingertips.

Overview of the self-billing process

Billing of transport services to the consignor is not effected as previously by means of an invoice issued by the logistics provider; instead the consignor creates a credit-note and sends this to the logistics provider. This credit-note replaces the logistics provider invoice (UStG [Sales Tax Act] §14 paragraph 2, sentence 3).

With the self-billing-system HDS Rebell® it is possible to augment the invoices with additional data from several different sources to ensure the optimal result, so that invoice auditing is not moved to the logistics provider as it usual with a self-billing-system.

Calculate

HDS Calculate® processes in parallel consignor information (e.g. delivery note data from the ERP system, weight data from weighing machines or cbm information from portal scanners, etc.) and forwarders’ information such as pre-costed consignment data, electronic invoices, ‘Track & trace’ data, etc.) to create the costing for each consignment, corresponding exactly to the service provided and the tariff agreement.
Additional information such as the Track & Trace messages from the forwarder is used to apply plausibility checks to the credit-notes using complex checking systems and can if required be electronically transmitted back to the consignor.

In HDS Contract® the original contracts in PDF format are stored in one area with corresponding indexation as well as tariff tables  for calculations.
Consequently all stored tariffs can be simulated at any time with the actual data from HDS Calculate®, allowing extensive comparative calculations for each segment (e.g. road or ocean freight) over all contracts.

Connect

In a singleWeb Interface orders can be entered and transferred to any number of service providers via EDI, Mail or Fax.
HDS Connect® can execute initial calculations (in conjunction with HDS Calculate®) to determine the best priced service provider and to place the order.

A self-learning database of consignee addresses is included as are the interfaces for connecting to the consignor ERP system.

HDS Control® also includes a built-in monitoring agent which calls attention to defined deviations occuring in certain KPI’s.

Flow

HDS Flow® is the central hub for data flow and automated processes from other program modules of HDS Rebell®.

A wide variety of settings is available to make it possible to use time and data control to initiate all types of tasks and to define a sequence of events. Particular attention is paid to the seamless logging of tasks executed and the possibility of automated dispatch with various levels of detail.

Apart from the task of implementing the processes of other modules such as freight and distance calculations, daily consolidation and the collation of forwarder and in-house data, the focus here is placed on data mapping and the import and export of data to and from the various data sources.

HDS Tender®   permits invitations to tender on the basis of current production to be augmented by sales forecasts. HDS Tender®  generates consignment data based on current consignments and takes account of sales forecasts. This permits the user to make highly-detailed market enquiries based on realistic future quantities.

HDS Tender®  also automatically determines the most advantageous tariff type Based on current or adjusted dispatch quantities, and puts together a complete tender with precise quotation specifications for the forwarder.
