Your Role
As the deputy to the partner responsible for Air & Ocean Freight Consulting, you will
take on a key role with both sales and client responsibility, as well as operational
oversight in international project business.
You will advise industrial and commercial enterprises on optimizing their global
transport flows while maintaining close coordination with logistics service providers.
You bring a mix of structure, expertise, and pragmatism with a strong focus on
digitalization and customer value.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and represent the partner in leading the department
- Advise international clients on air and ocean freight strategies
- Manage and execute tenders and project engagements
- Oversee the full lifecycle of air/ocean transport projects from rate analysis to contract
negotiation - Continuously optimize processes, tools, and templates related to rate and contract
management - Build and maintain long-term customer relationships and service provider networks
- Collaborate closely with our teams – especially the delivery center in Ho Chi Minh City
(Vietnam) - Support sales activities, client meetings, tenders, and implementation projects
- Willingness to travel as needed to support clients and project coordination
Your Profile
- Educational background in forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management
- Professional experience in sales or operations related to air and ocean freight
- Ideally experience in project business, tender management, or international rate
contracting - In-depth understanding of air & ocean freight processes, especially in pricing,
contracting, and rate management - Business-fluent in German and English; additional languages (e.g. French, Spanish,
Vietnamese) are a plus - Proficient with MS Office (especially Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); HubSpot experience
is a plus - Strong communicator with persuasive presence towards clients and service providers
- Hands-on, pragmatic, reliable, and solution-oriented mindset
- Willingness to travel internationally for internal alignment and client support
- Motivated to take on more responsibility – ideal for professionals ready to move up
from the “second row”
